Wow. This has really been a year. Honestly, I'd care not to repeat most of it, although it did have some good points. It's always good to reflect though, see what you need to change, etc., so here goes:
January - We started off the month with Kyle getting laid off from Arthur Marshall the same day I quit my job as a nanny. Also, Kyle turned the big 2-8. Time's a tickin towards 30!
February - I started at St. Peter as the music minister, which has truly been a blessing this year. We love our church and can't imagine being anywhere else!
March - Pretty non-eventful, except for someone crashing into my cute little car in the parking lot.
April - I made it through my first Easter as a music minister!
May - I became a Sales Director (for the first time), but more on that later. This was a fun month!
June - Pretty uneventful as well. I did go to New Director Week with Mary Kay - so much fun!
July - I turned 28 this month, went to Mary Kay Seminar, and Kyle was hired by Smith Barney! Woo! 6 months of unemployment was enough. Really.
August - Kyle started his new job, and I broke my back when my poor car was hit. Again. (I healed! No worries!)
September - It was all work this month!
October - Work, work, work! I started applying for school districts to start subbing.
November - I was hired by NISD, started subbing, adding a third job to the mix! We breezed through Thanksgiving and a very busy month.
December - This month was filled with our first Lessons and Carols service at St. Peter, Kyle going to Jersey for 2 weeks, and my dad had 2 surgeries. I was definitely ready for this month to be DONE. However, I did get to see my very first white Christmas!
As we go into 2010, I'm looking forward to being a new woman. I've dropped 7 lbs, and I'm looking forward to knocking off a lot more. In addition, I will get the "opportunity" to become a Sales Director all over again, as we didn't quite keep our production up, but I'm actually looking forward to that too. I'm also looking forward to us finally moving forward financially with our lives and getting back to normal, whatever normal is.
Happy New Year!

Mary Kay Monday: Loose Eye Shadows!
Monday is my main Mary Kay day, so I thought I would talk about one of my favorite new products. Loos Eye Shadows! They are applied with the little brush that is in the lid - kinda like lip gloss, but for your eyes! They are a limited edition item and come in three yummy colors: Cashmere, Pink Organza, and Lilac. And only $14. Fabulous.

I'm a bad bad blogger...
Ok, I've been working way way too much lately to post anything, but this is therapeutic in a way, so I'm going to try and post more! Let's see what we've missed: I've started subbing, that could mean interesting new posts all together! K's in New Jersey for two weeks - it's the longest he's been away from me since we got married. We'll see how nutty I am by then! Ha!
The Advent/Christmas season is always crazy for me, as this is the busiest time of year for two of my jobs - church and Mary Kay. Every year though, I know it's coming, so I kinda just suck it up and go full force into December, knowing that January starts out a lot nicer with a padded checking account, and a wonderful Christmas service behind me!
Here's hoping I actually can find time to post!
