OK kids – this one’s for you again. It’s hard to imagine that even as a baby, Jesus was fully Lord. While He was still very young, God used Jesus to teach the Pharisees in the temple. Even though He was God, He still had to grow and learn physically, mentally, and spiritually. He had to face being a kid just like we do!
Even though He was still young, God always had a plan for Him, and was preparing him for it. God has a purpose for each one of you, too, and right now, He’s growing you physically, mentally, and spiritually to prepare you for it. It’s not always going to be easy, but all of these things will prepare you for what God has in store for you when you get older.
You don’t have to wait, however, for God to use you! He can use you right now! By caring for your friends and family, talking to others about God, and helping at church, you are being used by God. Are you not sure how God is using you? Ask your parents for help, I bet they see God working in you every day.
“And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God was upon him.” Luke 2:40
